Not sure how teams haven’t figured out that you only need to hit 22 threes to get a easy win against OKC? They must not be very smart.
With this loss the Thunder can no longer match the 1996 Bulls regular season record or something.
The regular season Wolves continue to be utterly confounding. Embarassing losses to Utah and Chicago, fairly uninspiring win yesterday versus Dallas with no Cooper Flagg and they follow it up by dominating OKC on the second night of a back to back/ 4th game in 5 nights. Sure I guess
God Jaden McDaniels is so fucking good
Wire to wire win against the best team in the league is not something I expected tonight.
Basically everything fell for us and everything went wrong for OKC. Definitely wont happen in March, theyll come out firing and more healthy.
Minnesota played their hearts out tonight
Naz Reid 6MOTY lol
Mo wonder Wolves doesn’t wanna trade McDaniels
Bro Nas blocked Caso, hit a wide open 3 and then my dog farted directly in my face 😭
Thunder are literally just SGA and friends.
One of the ugliest offensive teams I’ve seen.
No offensive plays other than “give SGA the ball,” and when he gets them an open look they just brick wide open 3 after wide open 3.
Stay strong Minnesota, we love you
By this point in the season I have narrowed it down to three possibilities:
1. We are really really good
2. We are really really bad
3. We are somewhere in between
The Thunder were down a handful of key players, but if you’ve been watching the Timberwolves lately, you know that’s the best game they’ve played in a long time. They have not played with that much attention to detail on defense in a month. Guessing it’s just them getting up for the Thunder and then they go back to business as usual, but it would be a game changer if they just started stacking games where they play defense like this.
i respect the fact shai still decides to pass the ball to his open teammates
him shooting anywhere contested genuinely has a better chance of going in than anyone on his team shooting uncontested
Awoo!

Loved the energy, this felt like a playoff game.
Our 3 point defense needs to improve. First few times teams shoot 45%+ against us, sure it’s bad luck. But it’s a pattern now and it’s a problem.
Chet needs to take all the extra money he’ll earn from his max contract and give it to Shai until he actually steps up
But we have Jaden McDaniels
Julius Randle continues to turn into Anthony Bennett against OKC, but if he can get four steals every time, fuck it. Be a bust.
This was the 4th game in 5 days btw
Game was so Belt2Ass that Ant took off his jersey and gave it to a fan with 3:28 left in the 4th
They have Jaden McDaniels
Those non SGA minutes were horrible to watch lmao.
Two words:
Sixthmanofthe Year. Naz Reid
At this point it’s not even funny anymore
Nah it’s still funny
Sga’s supporting cast should take a long look in the mirror after this one lmao
This team deeply confuses me but WHAT A FUCKING WIN
This is somehow the same that lost to the Jazz, Bulls, and got blasted by the Warriors. Just a roulette wheel of a basketball team.
An opponent being +33 from three is hard to beat. Wolves crushed it and hit 3 after 3 every time we got within striking distance. GGs.
Another Shai 1v5 masterclass
Shai had no help tonight lol Also no shot beating Minny when they make double the threes
i feel like the wolves are legit one more reliable offensive player away from actually being nightmare fuel
their defense is generally pretty good, but their offense isn’t the most reliable, but when both sides are rolling even as constructed they’re super fucking annoying to deal with
they’re legit one of those “one piece away” teams imo
feel like if ant gets someone that can take more attention away from him he has incredible potential to shine much more consistently
Jaden McDaniels said betta not trade me!
Wolves really stole their thunder
OKC is not getting to 68 wins.
Shai just needs to channel his inner Kobe and start shot chucking atp, I’m gonna throw up if I see another game where he creates wide open threes and these bums brick it every time
Funny stat of the game : Rudy Gobert is the only Timberwolves starter to not record a block.
