KPop Demon Hunters has finally given die-hard fans a glimpse at Hasbro and Mattel toy lines.

The toy companies unveiled a slew of items at Nuremberg Toy Fair, including new dolls, action figures, collectibles, games, and role-play items inspired by the hit animated feature.

What to Expect from Mattel’s Collection

Unsurprisingly, Mattel’s line includes dolls, action figures, games, and collectibles. Among the offerings is an American Girl collection featuring individual dolls of the film’s main trio: Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, also known as the fictional K-pop girl group Huntrix. Each doll is inspired by the different characters’ “on-screen looks and personalities,” with premium fabrics and detailed accessories that reflect the film’s iconic fashion and music.

The collection also includes first-outfit fashion dolls and singing dolls that showcase the group’s performance outfits. In addition, collectible dolls, keychains of Huntrix, the boy band Saja Boys, and fan-favorite Derpy will be available. Mattel is also set to release an UNO game, Polly Pocket collectibles, and Little People Collector sets inspired by the film’s characters.

Hasbro’s Exciting Releases

Hasbro has unveiled NERF toys modeled after Huntrix’s demon-fighting weapons, along with two Furby Furblet toys. One is modeled after Derpy Tiger, a fan favorite, and the other is inspired by Jinu, the complicated leading man from the Saja Boys. Each Furby toy features over 45 interactive sounds, themed accessories, and a keychain clip.

Additionally, the toy company has created light sticks inspired by the film’s K-pop groups, which glow and sync for concert-style play. A KPop Demon Hunters Monopoly game is also in the works, allowing fans to “rehearse, hunt demons, win awards, and compete for fans.”

Popularity and Future Prospects

KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix’s most popular title ever, chronicling the adventures of Huntrix, a K-pop girl group fighting monsters. Following its success, a sequel film is reportedly in talks at Netflix and Sony Animation. The original film recently scored two Golden Globe wins and was nominated for Academy Awards.

While an exact release date for the toy lines hasn’t been announced, the American Girl KPop Demon Hunters collection is already available for pre-order on the brand’s website.
