Im fresh on quitting gambling to better myself and to hopefully save up for my first car.

If anyone has 6+ months of clean time from gambling, let me ask this.

I enjoy watching Trainwreckstv do bonus hunts on kick. I also enjoy watching XQC gamble.

Should I stop watching streams like that or is it okay to watch them?

Especially whenever I tried not to gamble, I’d watch similar gambling content instead.
Watching gambling content actually overlaps a lot with actual gambling.
It can give you similar dopamine spikes.
Many times, when I couldn’t find new good content to watch, or after I’d watched way too much in one day and it stopped doing anything, my dopamine (or whatever) felt completely messed up. And with small triggers, like a huge win or loss I’d seen, it pushed me back into gambling many times already.
    I definitely wouldn’t suggest it.

I wouldn’t recommend it but personally, it doesn’t impact me anymore. They all use such fake huge balances that it’s not even relatable and doesn’t give me that feeling of “wow that could totally be me” if that makes sense. Now watching sports on the other hand…

I still watch FencerGG every day but it doesn’t trigger me to gamble.

If anything, I see him lose $10,000 in five minutes and think “fucking hell, glad I don’t have that feeling any more.”
