Can anyone share success stories of coming back from having a bunch of credit card debt? Especially those who don't earn huge money… feeling pretty hopeless at the moment, like my options are very very limited if you catch my drift.

Write to the creditors and put up a payment plan and stick to it. Work, pay off. Thats how Ive been doing it for two years and should be debt free by summer.

Dealing with it right now. I started working second job, made papers and on each one says what is the money for. Like, from paycheck I put 300€ foor food and gas (Europe, Croatia), 150€ for utilities, etc. Rest of money goes into consolidating debt. You can start first with small debt or with the biggest, depends on what are you motivated more. And yes, it is a LONGTERM procces (for me 15-18 months) and it is very hard in the start to stick with it, but you need get through that. There is no easy way to say that. I told myself that I won’t think about problem all day, take 10-15 minutes of your time, and use that time to think about debt and everything, then stop, because if you think too much it will get you in the “fake” mode that everything is too slow and you don’t see any advance. It helped me, so I control my thinking which is extremelly important when you deal with addiction like this.
