Honestly same boat. The loss streak has been crushing. Im uk too. I hated bc games tbh but the general uk licensed sites are probably worse which is what I’ve been back to. Absolute cancer tbh
It wouldn’t have been any better if you had won 40K even if you won 40k and didn’t gamble for weeks. It would just kick it down the road and gambling would destroy you later when you’re older and and have more to lose. When I started gambling I went on “lucky” streak after streak. I had 5 figure wins and would bring everything back, and only go back to the casino with a small portion of my winnings weeks later and not bring my card. I escaped gambling ruin for many years. Then I moved away from nevada and didn’t gamble for years stacking everything up. When my dad died and a friend messaged me about Stake I had positive memories about gambling because in my past it wasn’t a problem, in my past I didn’t lose money, in my past I’d win 1800 and it would make me feel amazing. However when I got back into it I had a lot more, six figure savings, and winning thousands wasn’t as much of an excitement and since I needed an escape I kept going. I lost a quarter million 7 years after starting gambling. The first 8 times I gambled when I was 21 I was up every time. On my 21st birthday I got 100$, 4 months later I had over 15k. That was the WORST thing to ever happen to me money wise because it caused me to gamble in the future at much bigger stakes and lose much more than I can ever hope to remake. Gambling gave me money to start my 20s but by the time I got to my 30s it had taken every dollar I had worked for from six figure salary jobs. You do not want to win at gambling. Losing a few hundred everytime you gamble is good if you learn not to gamble eventually because if you won then once you had retirement money you’d lose that instead of just a few hundred. You don’t want to win at gambling you want to stop gambling. Losing quickly is ironically the best outcome in gambling, get it over with quickly
