I just can’t understand how the universe would let so many people lose so much before at least making some back. Like I don’t want to be rich I just don’t want to be in debt. Every day I want to be dead but don’t want to die solely because of the people around me. I just don’t understand. I’ve had losses that are insane odds to happen like beating stage 4 near death cancer odds. Why would the world let that be for us to lose money and not help people who die?

There’s a lesson in any addiction. We don’t understand it but there’s always something we take away from it IF AND I SAY IF we are one of the ones who make it out alive.
For me , I lost over a million dollars. And I don’t give a shit. I would lose 1 million more if it meant I can help one more person in life and hear them tell me I helped them get clean & sober.
God showed me that I was selfish, greedy, ungrateful, and spiritually bankrupt when I was a gambling, drug addict, alcoholic.
And now I walk with grace, humility, and a new found appreciation for life because of all the pain I endured during the darkest days of my life because of this monster.
Gambling is based off money and greed. Fix your spiritual bank account before you question if there is a God my friend. It requires digging deep into our soul, and we lose a lot before we gain wisdom that money can’t buy.
If you believe in God then turn to him as your Higher Power
You lose money because every game in gambling is designed for you to lose money. So what you’re seeing is not an abberation, but rather the perfectly normal thing that’s supposed to happen. Try to take this to heart before you gamble again.

We’re all responsible for our own path.
There is no god and you’re playing gambling games where the odds are knowingly stacked against the player. What do you expect?

P. S. If there was a god, I’d be asking more questions about child disease, disability and chronic suffering, than our bad beats betting on sports or casino games.

I am 22 I’m down 100k minimum, everything I’ve ever earned, plus more. Not to mention oppurtunity cost, and I have no will to live in this world. So I know how you feel, and I tell you the onlt way I have hope and any will to keep living is through Christ, through God and His supernatural Power.
Believe it or not God is actually waiting for you to surrender to Him so you can receive the Holy Spirit and be fulfilled spiritually so you don’t have to seek out gambling, or other ways.
Faith in Jesus Christ fulfills all financial issues, and knowledge of His Word will make this known to you. You have lost nothing to God, it is only your own beliefs that make you feel so.
Read the New Testament and repent, which means change your way of thinking, and be set free. Because this addiction is not God’s fault, and God has nothing to do with it, yet even God will use it for good.
Put your hope in eternal life and seek building up heavenly rewards.

No one can really know why God does what He does and allows, but your gambling losses are because of your own doing. Yes, you could say that there were other factors that caused you to do that (drinking, substances, etc), but there is no reason why to bring God into this. He gives us all free will, the best case forward you is to follow Him.
Because we have free will. form of love from God. With that being said with that free will we can choose to do good or bad. We can also create but we also can destroy. The innocent becomes victims and the guilty walk free sometimes . It’s a messed up world and yes it’s unfair.
But that’s why we got Jesus my friend ! To pay for all that unfairness!!

You have free will to live for God and abide in him or sin but just know when we sin yes it might seem pleasurable and good but the consequences that come with it are often times too much to bare
